Francis Adamson died from wounds on 25th May, 1915, after having been sent to a base hospital on the coast, but as yet there is no information as to when and where he was wounded. The 20th London battalion was part of 141 Brigade, 47th Division, that had arrived in France in March, 1915 and had been in the line at Givenchy throughout May of that year. |
